Monday the 16th was an inherently disappointing day. It mostly rained, and the wind blew very heavily, but that’s it! It didn’t even rain for long, just small bursts of droplets. We were so scared that my family cleaned out a closet under our stairs (no Harry Potter), and we were ready to outlast the storm, but it never came. truly disappointing. On the plus side, we didn’t have school then, so…Yippie! Thanks, North Carolina Weather! No, Really THANKS.
