Pirates Volleyball on a Hot Streak

The Page High school volleyball team has gotten off to a great 5-0 record in conference play. They were given the honor of being the first team to use the new state-of-the-art gym floor. Senior Kendall Hunt says “The season has been going very well and we are proud to be undefeated in conference after not being able to use the gym for two months.” The floor had not yet been completed by time the season began, so the team had to start off with seven straight away games, but that did not slow them down. They stayed strong with a 3-1 away win against rivals Grimsley Whirlies on Tuesday, September 29^th and hope to stay undefeated as they take on Southern Alamance on Thursday, October 1^st.
