Field Hockey Continues Strong Start

The Pirates Field Hockey team has continued their hot start with their 4-1 record in conference play, their only loss coming to the Northwest Vikings on a nail biting 1-0 defeat on 9/21. Senior Mary Grace Beard says that “she is excited for the remainder of the season and playoffs and she believes their team is strong enough to make a run for the ring.” The Field Hockey team has set a high standard for other teams that will be taking on their rivals, the Grimsley Whirlies, this coming week by shutting them out in both of their bouts this season. The Field Hockey team defeated Mount Tabor yesterday on 10/12 and hopes to continue their strong start with a win at East Forsyth today, 10/13, who they beat 3-0 when they played them earlier in the season.
