Last week, Page’s Men’s Soccer Team had three games. They won all three with scores of 9-0(mercy rule), 5-1, and 4-0. These results came in large thanks to a strong effort throughout the week by Page goalkeeper Jack Maginnes. Maginnes, a junior at Page, allowed only one goal over three games last week and has only allowed seven all season. The Pirates’ success this season has been helped out by Maginnes’ dominant efforts in goal with very few teams being able to score on him. Maginnes made multiple acrobatic and impressive saves last week in order to preserve two shutouts and only one goal allowed in their other game last week. Maginnes and the Pirates look to keep up their play and finish with a perfect record in conference with their last regular season game this Friday against Southern Alamance.
