The Pirates volleyball team played a 5–set thriller against Lake Norman in the second round of playoffs on October 27^th. After going down 2 sets to 1, the Pirates won 2 straight sets to move on to the next round. The Pirates will take on Northwest Guilford on Thursday, October 29 at Northwest Guilford. Northwest has a record of 24-3. Kendall Hunt says “We just want to win… we’re going to keep doing what we’ve been doing and play as hard as we can.” This will be a tough matchup, but the Pirates have been playing well and are hopeful to move on to the next round.
