On October 13th during Rivalry Week, The Lady Pirates Volleyball team faced the Grimsley Whirlies at The Robert R. Sawyer gymnasium.  It was one of the hardest games for the Pirates, as the contest ended with a 3-1 loss.  This gives the Pirates a conference record of 7-3 heading into the playoffs.
