After a strong season, the Page Wrestling team, coached by Coach Jordan Ashley,  sent sixteen wrestlers to the regional wrestling tournament on Friday, February 10. The wrestlers were Tyrone Ashley, Jed Darnell, Antonio Herbin, Charlie Stephens, Adam Shea, Elliot Holden, Will Woodburn, Richard Ellen, Daniel Goke, Khalil Bell, Alex Spicer, Jamel Lindsay, Shayne Mallory, Bill Osteen, Travis Anderson, and Trevon Anderson. Southwest Guilford hosted the Regional match. There, the team looked to do well and compete hard, with a goal of sending wrestlers to States.

The team’s goal was achieved by Senior Daniel Goke, who was selected for the NCHSAA 4A State Championships from Thursday, February 16, through Saturday, February 18. Goke was the only wrestler from Page who qualified for the State tournament. Although Goke unfortunately lost both of his matches, the team is still ecstatic with the outcome of such a productive season, with high hopes for the next season.
