Sports Recap for the Week of 9/11-17

For last week’s recap- our Page Pirates varsity football team is coming off a very close victory to Southwest Guilford on Friday September 17,2022, winning 10-7. Guard and defensive tackle Mark Henderson states “I believe we could’ve gotten off with more points, we just let off some easy routes and we lost some easy touchdowns, but I’m glad we pulled off with the win and we move forward.’’

Page men’s varsity soccer unfortunately lost both games last week: 3-0 to Northern Guilford on the 13th and 2-0 to Grimsley on the 14th. Varsity field hockey lost 3-0 to Grimsley on the 13th, but pulled off a 2-1 win against Greensboro Day on the 14th.
