Despite Defeat, Page Buccaneers Swashbuckle Stardom

A match brimmed with emotion, competitiveness and class. Despite a loss to the Whirlies during last Friday night’s football rivalry game, Page didn’t disappoint. The team fought to the bitter end to make one of the most entertaining games throughout this Football Campaign. Grimsley started off strong with a 6-0 against our Page Pirates after the 1st quarter, and continued to hold that lead. The game led to a one sided 4th quarter in which our Pirates blew up with 13 points, thanks in large part to kicker Tyler Elliot(#16) putting us in the lead with a score of 22-21 in the closing two minutes. Despite such a spontaneous recovery for our Pirates, Grimsley sealed their win with a final touchdown with 60 seconds on the clock, closing off this roller coaster of a match 27-22.
