On Wednesday March 29th, the Pirates Track Team took on Ragsdale and Grimsley in a conference tri-meet. This meet took place at Grimsley High School. In the Girls 100 meter hurdles Teyanni Ashely came in 1st, Carolyn Causey in 2nd and Essence Cooper in 3rd. Rose Houck came in 2nd in the Girls 800 meter run, Destinee Snead earned 1st in the Girls high jump and Amber Jones- Reece, Chakalyn Patterson placed 5th in the Girls shot put and in the Girls 300 meter hurdles Teyanni Ashley came in 1st, Abby Gray in 2nd and Carolyn Causey in 5th. Haley Schweitzer came in 2nd in the Girls 1600 meter run, Anna Souhan in 4th and Emily Beaupre in 5th, in the girls 400 meter dash Julia Taylor came in 1st, Essence Cooper in 2nd, Amber Jones-Reece in 4th and Adiva Brown in 5th and in the Girls 200 meter dash, Julia Taylor came in 1st and Latazia Hemingway placed 4th. In the Boys 100 meter dash Jaedon Barnett earned 2nd and Justin Iverson in 5th. In the Boys 200 meter dash Corry White got 1st, CJ Crump in 4th, Assad Alston in 5th and in the Boys 400 meter dash CJ Crump came in 2 and Justin Iverson in 5th. In the Boys 800 meter run Emmett Yacouba came in 3rd Daniel Martinez in 4th and Alejandro Ibrahim in 5th. In the Boys 1600 meter run Cam Milroy came in 1st, Daniel Martinez in 4th and in Boys 110 meter hurdles Nassem Alston placed 1st and Jamez Currie in 2nd, who also earned 1st in the Boys 300 meter hurdles. For relays the Boys 4×100 earned 2nd, 4×200 placed 2nd, the 4×400 received 3rd, 4×800 1st. In the Boys high jump final Zach Wynn earned 2nd, Boys long jump Cody King earned 1st and Patrick Smith in 4th and in the Boys triple jump Assad Alston placed 1st and Patrick Smith in 2nd. In the Boys discus finals Rodo Robinson received 4th and Keondre Paige in 5th and in the Boys shot put Keondre Paige in 2nd and Rodo Robinson in 4th.
