National Signing Day a Big Day For Pirates

National Signing Day was celebrated all across the country at thousands of different High Schools. Page was lucky enough to host 7 athletes signing off to continue their athletic career at collegiate levels:

Football: Tyler Deberry; Randolph Macon College, Will Jones; Western Carolina University, Javon Leake; University of Maryland, and Jacob Milillio; Guilford College

Swimming: Lucy Pearce; Pennsylvania State University

Cross Country/Track and Field: Freddie Marx; Washington Lee University and Ian Shanklin; North Carolina State University

Prior to National Singing Day, we had a softball signee: Gracey Albright, who committed to Furman University.

I can’t imagine how proud their families, coaches and our Athletic Director are to have such a big group signing . Even as a Page student, I was proud to see my fellow classmates get the opportunity to do big things. We congratulate them and send off an “Arrrrgh” to them all!
