March Students of the Month

The female Student of the Month for March is Allyson Clayton! Allyson is an exemplary student for Page. She always has a smile on her face and the willingness to help others. With handling all of her homework and extracurricular activities along with school, Allyson said that “while time management is difficult, it is essential to get your work done. You’ve gotta do what you need to, to get the kind of results you want.” At the current moment Allyson does not have a job, however she is willing to find one. Allyson is sure to stay very busy with volunteer work. She gives back to the community by “working at a day program for adults with disabilities. I also spend my time facilitating a poetry group with other people with disabilities. I spend Sunday mornings volunteering at Sunday school with kids, which I thoroughly enjoy! I also do more work with the advocacy non profit group, which is another group for people with disabilities.” Allyson also stays very busy within the Page community too. She is a part of National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honors Society, and Principal’s Council. Allyson is very excited to attend the University of Greensboro College this fall, in hopes of being a teacher, however she is uncertain of her future. Congratulations on all of your achievements Allyson, we’re lucky to have you in our community!

always keep you laughing! He is very committed to his activities and will always be there for you as a friend. Handling school and homework is very complex for Khalil, he says that he manages his time by “finding time to make sure I get all of my work done. Because of Playmakers, I basically live at school the weeks leading up to the show, so I’ve found it most successful to get my work done during my scenes.” Khalil’s after school job involves his incredible talent with a camera. He said “I do some photography and videography for several people. I usually work on a video for the Page lacrosse teams.” Khalil likes to give back to the community by helping teachers grade papers, Operation Christmas Child, and Shopper’s Day. Khalil is apart of many clubs here at Page. He said he is members of “Playmakers, International Thespians Society, Photography club, Pay It Forward, National Honors Society, National Honors Technical Society, and Skillsusa.” After high school, Khalil says he is undecided about where he will be attending college if he does. He said, “I plan on making it big either on off of the stage.” Congratulations, Khalil! We can’t wait to see you shine bright out there Khalil!
