The Pirates men’s basketball team is having a hot start to the beginning of the season winning their first three games. The Pirates defeated Southern Guilford in the season opener 61-51 led by Senior guard Jahlen King who scored 34 points in the pirate win. On Tuesday, November 28 the Pirates defeated the Northern Nighthawks 65-56, Jahlen King scored 17 and Junior guard Trent Mcintyre scored 11 points in the win. On Thursday, November 30th the Pirates faced Dudley at home. The Pirates won off of the Trent Mcintyre buzzer beater 59-57.  The Pirates will travel to Mayodan on Friday, December 1st to play McMichael in hopes to keep the winning streak going.
