Cross Country Conference Championship

Yesterday on October 21, the boys and girls Cross country teams competed for the Conference championship. The boys came out Conference champions yesterday with five people finishing in the top 15. Ian Shanklin came in 1^st place, Freddie Marx finished in 3^rd, Stuart Coates came in 4^th, and Mike Weaver finished in 12^th place. The girls fought hard and finished a solid 3^rd place. Cameron Kiser finished in 15^th place, Ashlee Smith at 13^th, Cici Heyne at 11^th, and Rebecca Hunt came in 6^th place for the pirates. Also yesterday, Ms. Blue was awarded the Philip Legnetti Men’s Cross Country Coach of the year, presented by Susan, who is Coach Legnetti’s wife, and PJ, who is their son. Congrats Ms. Blue!
