Soccer Heading Into the Playoffs

Page Men’s Soccer has another successful week heading further into October. On Monday, October 10th the Pirates fought hard for a win against Southern Alamance 2-1. On Tuesday, October 11th the Pirates score big against Dudley with a win 10-1. With it being Spirit Week getting ready for the big rivalry game on Friday, it is only fit for the Pirates to take on the Whirlies on Thursday October 13th. The Pirates came out with a win 4-0. Soon the Pirates will be heading into the playoffs and they are in a good position, considering they are now 13-0-1. Coach Ettefagh says,  “We have been preparing all year to make a run at the state championship. We are trying to secure home field advantage by winning conference and having the best record in our bracket. We focus on one match at a time as we prepare for post-conference play. We are hoping to have all our players healthy and conditioned for some grueling competition.”  As the Pirates head into their last conference games they are prepared to dominate the playoffs!
