Despite Tough Losses, Field Hockey Gets Ready for Playoff Run

The Pirates Field Hockey team gets defeated in 2 hard fought games last week. The first game was against Reynolds who won the State Championship last year, the game ended in a 4-0 loss. The second game was against Northwest Guilford where we lost 2-0 leaving the team at a 2-6 record on the season. The Pirates hoped to bounce back from these 2 losses with the second game against Northwest who we lost to previously. The second game against Northwest was a close one that went into overtime ending in a loss for the Pirates, with a final score of 1-2 and our only goal coming from the senior Chandler Simpson.
