The Pirates Get Revenge On Grimsley

This past Tuesday, September 19th, the Lady Pirates got their first win of the season playing East Forsyth. The Pirates won this match by a score of 3-0. Later in the week the team took on the Northwest Vikings at home, Thursday September 21st. They lost by a score of 1-0 in a tough game.

They began this week by facing off against Grimsley at home. The Pirates were looking for revenge, having already dropped a game against the Whirlies this year. The pirates competed for the full game and some, as they took the victory in double overtime, Monday night. The game was played at Marion-Kirby Stadium, and the Pirates won by a score of 1-0. The Pirates only goal of the game was scored by forward Evy Hochstein. The Page Field Hockey Team has a current record of (2-5).

They look to continue their home stand against West Forsyth, Wednesday September 27th at 7pm.
