Matthew Davis is the Student of the Month for February. In November he won the “Gee You’re Crazy” award for being the best volunteer at Greensboro Youth Council. He also has already found out that he will be receiving the Service Learning Diploma at the end of the year. Matthew will miss the people and the community feeling that Page High School has to offer. Matthews’s favorite part of high school so far is the experiences, events, pep rallies, and everything else that Page has offered.  Mrs. Abell, one of Matthew’s teachers said, “Matthew is one of my favorite kids, but he has no filter and he is honest. But every day he brings an interesting spark to the class.” When asked how he felt about being Student of the Month Matthew said, “It feels really good. I’m glad that people are seeing me and my good aspects.” When asked what Matthew wants people to know about himself he said, “You should be passionate about something and pursue what you want to, not what you have to.”
