Pirates Swimming and Diving Teams Finish the Year Strong

Congratulations to the Pirates swimmers and divers. Final results at the state championship were outstanding. The women’s team finished 6th place with 146 points and was only 5 points away from a 5th place finish. The men’s team finished 24th with 28 points which is great since the men’s team only had one relay and 2 individual swimmers. The Pirates brought home three state medals, McKenzie Campbell finished 4th place in the 100 fly, Reid Mikuta finished 4th place in 100 breaststroke as well as Jess Paul who finished 3rd place in the 1 meter diving. There were also three team records broken by Emily Ally in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.03, McKenzie Campbell in the 100 fly (56.29) and 100 Breast (1:05.47). Also Reid Mikuta in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 56.96.  Congrats to the Pirates on great finishes this year!
