April’s Male student of the Month is Holden Rice. Holden has had many major accomplishments since being at Page, which include working towards an IB diploma, being a member of National Honor Society and being the top 7% of his class. Holden’s extracurriculars at Page are Playmakers and Sand Volleyball. Holden’s future plans are to go to NC State with an intent on Computer Science. Holden’s favorite part of Page is how diverse it is and the many different types of people he gets to interact with. Something he has learned since starting high school was to find a good cohort of friends because they will help you stay on track and mold you into the person you want to be. Holden wants others to know that he’s really enjoyed his time here at Page with the wonderful people he has met and he wouldn’t trade anything for it. Lastly, his advice for others is to try and put in hard work at the beginning so you can relax at the end, and to continue to surround yourself with positive people who will push you in the right direction and support you no matter what.

April’s Female student of the Month is Nicolette Robinson. Nicolette is very involved in Page; she participated in Cross Country, Basketball, Soccer and Track and she will be participating in the East-West All Star game for North Carolina for Soccer. Some of her accomplishments this year include being in NHS, being in All Region for Soccer, winning the Neeses scholarship award presented during Grimsley game and admitting to Wake Forest. Nicolette’s favorite aspect about Page is the community and how everyone is willing to come together as one family and support each other. An important lesson she has learned from being at Page is to continue to work hard, even when you feel like giving up, apply yourself in and out of the classroom. When asked how it feels to be Student of the Month, she replied “I feel honored as I have contributed a lot to Page and the community”. Lastly, Nicolette wants others to know that she believes Tupac was and will forever be the best rapper of all time, adding to that she doesn’t let her fears keep her from living her life and she will continue to be fearless.
